The most delightful red wines I ever drank were a Maréchal Foch and a Baco Noir from Blomidon Estates in Nova Scotia, Canada. You knew that Nova Scotia has more than 30 wineries? And the neighbor provinces make up leeway. It's becoming a big agri-industry in the Maritimes. Well industry is maybe the wrong word as these are mostly small, family-owned vineyards. .
Not many of these wineries deliver to government stores and that's why wine lovers have few opportunities to savor Maritime wines - unless they reside in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick or PEI - or travel East to sample and buy the lovely wines.

Their new patio / tasting bar, nestled among the vineyards is a great place for trying new wines, meeting friends and learn about winemaking. From now on, all wine connoisseurs who visit the new patio at Blomidon Estates will have a wonderful view over a sea of grape-vines from which the delightful content in their wine glasses is created.
